Initiated with the chair in 2009, the Bold collection is now taking a new direction with the Extra Bold sofa. It deploys a new constructive logic and a new plastic vocabulary, going beyond the principles of interweaving lines of the chair, stool, bench and armchair before it.
The latest development in an uninterrupted investigation into the functional applications of the continuous line in furniture design, the Extra Bold sofa introduces the notions of sequence and repetition and twists them to the point where they become tools in the service of a polymorphous and organic whole visually freed from the rationality inherent in its principle of modularity.
Like a musical piece by Philip Glass or Terry Riley, the Extra Bold sofa succeeds in creating a narrative whole using the repetition of identical, regular pulsations and short patterns.

Each tube cover can be replaced separately, avoiding the need to reupholster the entire sofa in the event of a stubborn stain.
